I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life, and my husband and I rescued two labs (a Chocolate and a black) when we were first married almost 15 years ago. We raised them from the time they were puppies until they passed away at ages 13 and 14. Senior dogs have such a special place in my heart. We have an 11 year old son Jack, who LOVES dogs as much I do. We have a 3 yr old Bassett hound mix Copper, and he is very sweet, playful and social. I am comfortable working with all dog breeds, I love all their different personalities, they truly bring me SO much joy! It’s important to me to develop ongoing, trusting relationships with my clients. I would love to provide a fun, happy, comfortable home away from home for them. I typically prefer to serve one client in my home at a time for an extended stay but will make exceptions for repeat clients if both families are comfortable with this.

Tabitha was great! She was very quick to respond to any questions I had. Our dog had a great time in their home and they really treated him like their own.
My dog is very happy and Tabitha and her kid took care of him so much . Husky enjoyed Tabitha’s dog company too as both are friendly ! Will drop my dog in spring break too .

I am happy to provide drop in visits in your home and/or walks in your neighborhood. I am also available on weekends (or an extended stay) for boarding in my home. We have a fenced in yard and your pet will get plenty of exercise and playtime while in our care. We live for the outdoors during the warmer months! We go on lots of family ventures including trips to the dog park, PetSmart, hikes and exploring new trails, Frankie Martins Garden on a nice evening, dinners on a patio and more. As you can see, we include our fur babies in our activities as much as we can and they are treated as a part of the family. If your pet prefers more low key activity, snuggles and TLC, we can do that too!

Please let me know if your pup has any special needs or behavior tendencies before hand so he or she will be safe and comfortable with me and/or in our home. How often does your pet need to go outside for a potty break? Does he/she do best in a crate if left alone? How is their typical disposition toward other dogs/kids? It is very important to be honest/transparent with me regarding your pets behavior, routines, habits, needs, etc. This is in their best interest so he/she can have the very best experience possible being away from their home.
A typical day
Your pup will get plenty of exercise, we live for the outdoors during the warmer months! We go on lots of family ventures with Copper including trips to the dog park, PetSmart, hikes and exploring new trails, glamping, Frankie Martins Garden on a nice evening, dinners on a patio and more. As you can see, we include our fur babies in our activities as much as we can! If your pet prefers more low key activity and snuggles, we can do that too! He or she will get lots of TLC while in our home!

Availability
I am a Dental Assistant by day and work Monday -Thursday. My husband or I are always home by 2:30 during the week so there is plenty of time for exercise, play and fun!
