I have trained and worked with several animal shelters in the last 15 years and have been the Vice President of ASHA since 2021. I grew up with dogs and cats my entire life, and I began learning to train them ten years ago. I have experience with special needs dogs & cats, and dogs of all sizes. I love taking them for walks, playing at the dog park, and just keeping each other company at home. I would be happy to reinforce training for dogs to sit, stay, walk, heel, etc. If you have an established training style I would gladly practice that with your dog. I love cats, reptiles, birds, rabbits, and many more. Don't hesitate to contact me for any "exotic" pets that need care.

Tabbie is basically an animal whisperer. My dog Samson has really bad anxiety problems, but whenever he is with tabbie his demeanor completely changes, he feels protected and safe and notably calms down. Tabbie is so good with with both dogs and cats that she is the only one that I trust with my fur babies. She knows about canine behavior, she understands what dogs need not to feel stressed and she always puts the dogs care first. She is basically amazing.
Tabbie is one of the biggest animal lovers I've ever met. Her and I volunteer at a farm that helps take care of horses, chickens, sheep, dogs, cats, peacocks, pigs and a few others I'm probably forgetting. She treats every animal with love and respect. Often Tabbie will take care of her friends dogs and we'll meet up at the local dog park so they can all play together and have fun. My dogs love her, even my little Chihuahua that doesn't normally like other people. I would trust her with any animals because I've seen how lovingly she cares for everyone of them, no matter their species, breed or physical appearance.

In my home I separate my cats' food because Hestia requires a special diet. I play with all 3 of my cats at least once a day and maintain clean litter boxes and food & water bowls. In a client's home I would care for all pets as directed.

A typical day
My go-to is walking around tree-shaded neighborhoods near me, but I typically walk dogs in their home neighborhoods where they are familiar and comfortable. I also enjoy playing fetch with them if they are comfortable at the dog park, or just giving pets and above-the-tail scritches at home.

Availability
I work from home and as the VP of an animal rescue, pet care is on my mind nearly 24/7. I have two cats that I adopted as kittens and a third that we adopted at the beginning of 2022.
