Pet care experience
I have spent my entire life with many different kinds of animals, but always held a special place in my heart for those of the canine variety. Our family has previously adopted rescues, and always enjoyed helping them acclimate and giving them the love and patience necessary to become well rounded family animals. Most recently, we began a new adventure with a purebred Miniature Australian Shepherd, who we got as a new pup early this year to be our children's playmate and snuggle bud. She is fulfilling the role brilliantly and has been a joy to train. We look forward to more animal encounters in the near future.

Taalyr babysit our two family members while we were on a business trip. Daisy, our 10 year old Bassett, felt right at home, and Zephyr, our scared of everything (including her own shadow) 3 year old mixed breed was invigorated by the large fenced pasture that allowed her to feel like an explorer. They were excited when we picked them up, of course, but on a couple of return visits they knew where they were and couldn't wait to get out of the car for another adventure!

Should you choose to leave your furry friend in our care, here are some of the activities it will enjoy throughout his or her day in the beautiful Creston area: - Plenty of fresh air and room to roam within our fully fenced 3/4 acre back yard. - A variety of dog toys and an always ample supply of fresh water and food (owners will be expected to provide specialty food if they do not wish to use ours). - The frequent company of two doting and well-behaved human children (7 and 4). - The tender love and care of one (sometimes two depending on schedule) adult who is passionately attune to the needs of four legged creatures. - The all day companionship of a social and intelligent miniature Australian Shepherd (nearly one year old). ***IMPORTANT NOTE*** We will not be able to provide an indoor area for your pets for the time being. As winter approaches, if we have consistent customers, we will be happy to provide a heated indoor facility that will be accessed directly from our backyard.

I am a stay at home mother and home school our children. This allows me to be home during the week full time. Should we make an occasional trip out of the home while your pup was in our care, it would be planned in advance and executed with enough efficiency to be back in time to give all animals the attention they need while they are missing their loving owners.
