I have cared for and been around dogs most of my life but recently while I’ve been on sabbatical I’ve had the opportunity to connect with dogs in a more intimate way. I am passionate about taking care of dogs as over the past year they have taken care of me. I’m currently pursuing an interest in becoming a professional dog trainer through AHS. Look forward to your pup being loved on and safe for in my care.

I am pretty good at following instructions. Dogs warm up to my fairly easily and I spend time understanding the dogs temperament and personality to make sure we are both comfy with each other.
Information Syreeta S. would like to know about your pet
Learning the temperament and personality of your dog is my number priority in making them and you feel confident about my care. I want to know how your dog spends a typical day. Though I don’t want to disturb their daily schedule I like to know what motivates them and grabs their attention, are they an eager learning or go with the flow type. How are they with resources? How are they with other dogs? These are just a few questions I’ll ask to help me gauge how to best augment care for your pup.
A typical day
I love learning what motivates your dog to build trust and keep them engaged mentally in my care. That looks like play, reinforcing commands and learning new ones, with walks and play in the park. And of course plenty of snuggles cuddles and scratches. I am just as comfortable giving affection and praise as I am teaching tricks.

Availability
My schedule is mostly open. I have a part time job but plenty of time to take care of your pup. I am off most weekends if I am not volunteering with a rescue.
