Pet care experience
I have always worked with a variety of animals since I was a child. My family used to breed cattle dogs and I was obsessed with helping strays find their way home or into a safer place than the streets. I worked at a doggie daycare supervising large packs of dogs during playtime for a year, and now I work at an animal hospital as a kennel technician. As you would imagine, I have extensive experience in special needs care, medication administration, caring for puppies and seniors as well as cats! I am trustworthy, punctual, well-rounded and an animal lover who withholds all the qualities and skills to take care of your pet properly while making sure they are having the best time of their lives!

I live in a studio apartment with my pup and parakeet! I have a patio/balcony perfect for sunbathing, as well as a large, unfenced yard. I live within walking distance of the Campbell Creek trail and University Lake Dog Park. I bring my pup on walks every morning before work and another walk after work, on my days off I bring him to the dog park and let him do his thing for an hour or two. Twiggy is a loyal, intelligent, energetic, well-socialized, excitable and all around lovable pup. He's very happy to meet new friends and loves to bond with new dogs, as he was separated from his litter as a newborn.

I have no breed preferences, but my apartment complex doesn't allow pitbulls, rottweilers, bulldogs etc.. unfortunately. I would like know if a pet has behavioral issues so I can accommodate appropriately (such as making arrangements to bring your pet to work with me, if they cannot be left alone)
A typical day
When I have dogs staying with me, I make sure to enrich the experience as much as possible! I am an active person so frequent walks to new and familiar places are guaranteed. I have tons of toys and bones (digestible all natural antlers) that my dog is more than willing to share. When there's no diet restrictions or allergies present, I give a moderated amount of treat dispensing toys and puzzles for your dog to put their problem solving skills to work while remaining stimulated!

Availability
I work Tuesday-Saturday with availability before 12pm and availability after 7pm. On Sundays and Mondays, I'm 100% free and have no business obligations, unless I'm working with your animals, of course! :)
