Pet care experience
I have always had animals in my life, until recently when I lost my 15-year old dog. At this time I have no pets, I'm retired, and can devote myself to your pet’s needs. I have a fully-fenced back yard and really enjoy long walks. Your dog needs exercise and so do I! I ask that you bring your dog’s bed, “blankie”, and favorite toys. If your dog is crate-trained, please bring that as well. Of course I will follow your feeding and exercise instructions.

Sylvie was wonderful with our dog. She is so kind and loving! She kept us up-to-date while we were away and sent us pictures that really made us feel good about where he was. I will definitely ask Sylvie to take care of our dog next time we have to leave him in town.

Sylvie took excellent care of our two large dogs, Homer and Juno. She sent text updates throughout the day, and our dogs had so much fun playing and running around in her backyard. She was very patient with our puppy, who is still learning rules. Communication was very fast and easy with Sylvie, who was flexible with our drop off and pick up times. Thank you Sylvie for providing a fun day for our pups while we were in Tucson!

Your animal becomes part of my family while in my home. Dogs and cats are allowed on my furniture. Unless you require your pet to be crated overnight, they will be allowed to roam my house (including my bedroom). My large backyard is fully fenced (over 6’ tall) and I will keep your pet company while they are exploring the yard.

A typical day
I will understand if your pet feels insecure and wants to follow me around the house. I will do my best to provide comfort and reassurance. Your dog will get two walks each day, or more, based on your instructions.

I am a former teacher in alternative education, and I have years of corporate experience. I’m retired so my schedule is flexible both weekdays and weekends. I can usually accommodate same-day booking requests. I can usually adjust my schedule to your pet’s needs.
