Hi! I know it says my name is Sylvia. And, legally, it is. But... everyone calls me Meg! I have had dogs my entire life. Every one of them lived long, healthy and happy lives. I would totally be lying if I didn’t toss out there, right now, that Pooh is the star of this gig. She is amazing with other dogs. Age nor breed matter to her. She plays with puppies and lounges with her senior friends - and truly loves every single moment with our visitors. At our house, dogs run the asylum. I am here simply to open doors and fill food and water dishes. Your furry family will enjoy the run of the entire house, including Auntie M’s bed and the back yard (which is almost 3/4 of an acre, has a 6’ fence and stays locked). Weather permitting, the back door stays open during the day, so pups can come and go freely. It’s a “country-esque” area with plenty of room to run, chase balls, sniff rocks or just laze in the sunshine. Sometimes, we even have a friendly horse (named Boomerang) who stops in to visit! We enjoy regular play and potty breaks (every hour if need be) and all day snuggles (since Mom is home all day, almost every day. We REALLY like this fact)! Treat time is always a lot of fun, and if pups don’t already understand basic commands, we use this time to reinforce those behaviors. We have “Good Morning Sunshine” feedings in the mornings and a healthy dinner each night.
