About Sylvia M.
Safety, trust & environment
Before, moving to North Carolina, I had many families in the state of Washington who entrusted their pets and homes to me for a week to five weeks at a time.
Information Sylvia M. would like to know about your pet
Questions I usually ask are: 1. Who is your veterinarian, and who should I contact in an emergency? 2. Does your pet have any medical conditions, medications, allergies, or special needs? 3. What is your pet’s normal daily routine for feeding, walks, potty breaks, and sleep? 4. How does your pet behave around strangers, other animals, or when left alone? 5. Are there any safety concerns or habits I should know about, such as escaping, chewing, scratching, or anxiety?
A typical day
Your furry friend will receive love, attention, and companionship. Depending on the pet’s personality and needs, we may enjoy walks, playtime with toys, cuddle time, gentle grooming, treats (if allowed), and plenty of calm interaction to help them feel happy, safe, and cared for while their family is away.

Experienced small dog caretaker.
Pet care experience
As soon as I retired, I started pet sitting. I am used to staying in clients homes to care for their pets which also shows that their home is not empty. It also means I’m there to give your dog the attention it needs while you’re away.
Cat care experience

Sylvia also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews

Sylvia did an incredible job caring for our fur babies! They were obviously well-cared for during our time away. She kept us informed about how they were doing and sent photos. We had some unexpected issues with our cable while we were gone, and she arranged to have it serviced so it would be working upon our return. If your babies need attention, love and care during your absence, we recommend Sylvia!
