Hello! I'm Sylvia. I love dogs and cats! I love taking dogs for long or short walks through nearby Prospect Park or Park Slope streets, stopping to play fetch if they want to. I can also take your dog for a run around the 5.3km Prospect Park loop if you would like them to burn off some extra energy. Dogs that stay overnight with me will be walked depending on what their activity needs are. I have a reasonably sized backyard space for us to play in too. They can sleep in their own doggy bed or on the couch. My old dog Quinn was dead and half blind and had frequent seizures, so I am quite adept at caring for dogs with special needs. Weather permitting, I like to spend as much time outside with dogs I look after as possible. Our backyard and Prospect Park make this easy. I think that dogs need company and luckily I love spending time with our fluffy friends!

Sylvia is my #1 pick - across the board. Trustworthy. Kind. Avid creature lover. Great accent. When Sylvia first met my dogs, she immediately connected with them on a creature-creature level. My little woofs, as she calls them, are crazy about her. Sylvia's presence in their lives has made leaving home each day easier because I know my dogs are in the best care. She always sends great photos with updates to boot! When my half-husky had a slipped disc, Sylvia carried her up and down 5 flights of stairs so Zuri wouldn't experience additional pressure/impact on her spinal cord. I got tears in my eyes when I heard about Sylvia's devotion to my dog, in addition to her respect and validation with my nervousness/anxiety about Zuri's injury. Sylvia sent me updates and photos every 5 minutes during her walk, just to give me peace of mind during this time. In brief, she cares for each creature as it were her own. There is no one else I would recommend above Sylvia.
