Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs since I was 2 years old and have generally been around dogs my whole life. I have always been a dog lover, and now that I’m in college, I’m not able to have a dog of my own. However, my sister and girlfriend both have gotten dogs in the last year and I’ve immensely enjoyed helping train them and have loved treating them as if they’re my own. Some of my experience with training/handling dogs have been with labs, mini schnauzers, and terrier mixes, and I’d be open to working with many more for additional rates! I’ve trained puppies on tricks such as potty training, sitting, laying down, staying, waiting to grab food/learning to “leave it”, learning to come when called, etc.

I’m unable to bring dogs to my own home at the moment, but I will be happy to walk your dogs on leashes in safe environments, take them to dog parks, let them out to use the bathroom and play, use treats and/or affection as rewards and whatever normal punishments they receive as punishment if need be. I’d be willing to crate them when leaving or leave them out to free-roam in a room or house, so long as that has been discussed between us prior. I will try to keep their schedule and surroundings as close to normal as possible, but am also willing to socialize them at dog parks or introduce them to new surroundings when/if that’s a need of yours and theirs. Basically, if you want me to introduce them to new things, I will, but unless that is explicitly told to me, I will try to do everything as you do with them so as to keep their routine and expectations the same.

Availability
I will be unemployed come early May, so I’ll have all the time in the world to come play with your puppies, walk them, train them, or just take them out. I’ll be available Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm, from May-June.
