Pet care experience
I have cared for a number of dogs over extended periods of time and have been very successful with it! Plus, I have a happy and healthy dog of my own so I understand that every dog is different and needs loads of patience. We practice tricks everyday and work on our listening skills whenever possible, but always save time for fun! I am familiar with keeping a medication regiment for my own dog and am more than happy to keep up your pup’s meds while they are with me. I have had dogs all my life, pet sat for years growing up, and absolutely ADORE four legged friends! My experience doesn't stop at dogs either! Cats, bunnies, birds, you name it! So as you can see, this isn’t my first time to the rodeo! :)

With just a few days left before I needed a sitter for our dog Ahi, Sydney responded within minutes to our request and came to our rescue! Sydney kindly welcomed us into her place to see where Ahi would be staying the next few days. She has a nice sized private yard where they could hangout and potty, spacious and clean living area, Ahi was also allowed on the couch which was nice as he loves to cuddle and he got along great with her dog Gasper! Sydney distributed oral medication for Ahi according to schedule and updated us with photo to make sure our baby was doing well. Sydney has a heart for four legged friends and I would highly recommend her! This is our first time with Sydney but it definitely won't be our last! Mahalo so much, girl!
Sydney was great with my dog. I was worried since my dog is a pretty active puppy but she took great care of her. My dog got to enjoy her time there with Sydney’s dog and the two of them got along great. Thank you! I highly recommend Sydney and would definitely use her again.

I know the best spots to take dogs! Hiking, neighborhood strolls, beaches, you name it! I am happy to tailor an exercise plan specific to your animal! As I am living with family at this time, I will not be boarding animals at my own home. That being said, I am open and available for house sitting, drop-ins, dog walking, and doggy day care hosted at a local dog friendly park!

A typical day
For a casual walk I usually roam around the area in which the dog is staying (either my house or yours). But we still keep it interesting! We can go hiking, play at the beach, and hit the dog park whenever possible! We also practice our tricks daily and work on listening skills whenever possible. If there is something specific you would like to teach your dog, let me know! I may be able to help!

Availability
I graduated from University of Hawaii in December and worked on Oahu for a few months after that. I have since moved back to the Bay Area where I was born and raised. I am currently unemployed due to the COVID-19 crisis and am eager to find a great set of individuals and animals to build my California clientele. My schedule is wide open, so I am available for you and your pet any time!
