I find it difficult to provide care for my dog when I am not home, so I understand the value of having someone trustworthy to care for your furry best friend. I’d love to welcome your pup into our home! MEET MY DOGS: Ernie: He is a 45 pound Wheaten Terrier that is very friendly. He is quite an adventure dog and enjoys hiking, swimming and paddle boarding. He is not aggressive towards other dogs or people and would love to have a buddy to play with. He is great with dogs of any size. Grizzly: He is 12 pounds and thinks he is a big dog. He holds his own with any size dog and was raised as an adventure pup. His favorite activity is running while I skin. EXPERIENCE: I have raised 4 dogs and have cared for pets for my friends. I have raised a Miniature Schnauzer, Yellow Lab, Newfoundland and a Wheaten Terrier. I am comfortable caring for large dogs as long as they are well behaved. I have experience caring for puppies as well as elderly dogs. I had a dog with many medical problems and have experience administering oral medication and insulin injections. CARE ROUTINE: I would be happy to accommodate your dog care ritual and send pictures of your pup to ensure that you are happy with his or her stay! I work from home which means I get to spend the whole day with your pup. Here is a bit about my normal care routine for my dogs. On a typical Saturday we wake up around 7:45 a.m. and head straight outside for a bathroom break. I feed Ernie and Grizzly breakfast then we go for a morning walk. I get ready for the day while he plays. Then we decide what our dog-friendly adventure will be that day. Our favorite activity is hiking. We return home in time for dinner where I feed them and take him out again. We would likely play some fetch indoors while I watch a movie. Finally, I take Ernie out one more time before we go to bed.
