Pet care experience
Hello, my name is Sydney and I love pets of all shapes and sizes! Here are some things you should know about me: •8+ years of experience working with animals (dog walking, pet sitting, etc) •4 + years of experience working in the Veterinarian Industry, where I’ve learned how to care for a number of different animals •I am proficient in administering subcutaneous fluids (IV fluids), injections, and oral medication If you would like to know more about me, I am currently a full time student at Saint Martin’s university while also working as a medical assistant at a local vet clinic. In my spare time you can find me volunteering at PAWS wildlife rehabilitation center. I currently own a dog, 4 cats, and a rabbit and I have also grown up around many other animals. I have lots of experience hand raising and rescuing kittens and puppy's. As I continue to learn the finer details of the Veterinary industry, I plan on using my knowledge to certify as a full time Veterinary Technician. This was the first time Leo had ever been watched by somebody he just met. We did a couple of meet n greets but he still was not welcoming to Sydney the first several times she came by. She stuck it out and he eventually started to warm towards her. I appreciate that she was willing to work with the situation even when Leo was not cooperative.

We love Sydney so much!!! She always takes such great care of our animals. We have used her and her other half Caleb (who is also amazing, we highly recc reccomend him) for various reasons from house sitting with all of our animals, to just drop in visits for specific animals. This time, we just had her come by and give attention to our kitten as our housesitter is gone for more than 6 hours at a time and she was wonderful! She sent so many pictures, we could tell our boy was so happy and she even gave attention and sent pictures of our other animals even though we didn't pay her for them. She is an absolute GEM! We love Sydney and Caleb and they are ALWAYS our go-to folks when we need to go out of town or have to be away from our animals for long periods of time. Thank you so much Sydney!!!
We have used Sydney for drop ins on our 3 cats twice now and have had a great experience both times. We appreciate her and the care she provides to our cats when we’re out of town!
