I’ve lived with cats and dogs for years. I’ve learned to read animal body language and can differentiate the inter-species differences between annoyance and wanting attention, between anxiety and curiosity, etc. In my own household, I have changed litter boxes, fed chickens, walked dogs, and all sorts of small chores associated with the joys of pet parenthood. There’s not much I can’t do!
