Hi there! My name is Sydney, and thank you so much for checking out my sitter profile! 🙂 I have many years of caring for dogs + cats of all ages as well as other animals. I currently work part time at a doggy daycare + boarding facility where I tend to and oversee about 15-30 dogs per day monitoring play and interactions while they are out in groups or out on an individual playtime. When they are indoors, I ensure that they get all of their required medications, make sure their kennel is clean and comfortable, and feed each dog their meals. I also have about 2 years experience working in the Veterinary industry as a Veterinary assistant, so I have a medical background under my belt as well! I am good at taking care of multiple pets and different types of pets. I have taken care of dogs as well as cats who need medication, older friends, puppies, kittens, pets with special needs, etc.

Sydney was great! I felt extremely comfortable leaving my pets for her to watch while I was away. She was very communicative and made sure to update me throughout my trip with photos. I would definitely recommend Sydney and will be using her again.
Sydney was the absolute best! My cat can be difficult, but she managed her perfectly and was extremely communicative. The peace of mind I had on vacation knowing my cat was in good hands was invaluable. Sydney even left my little monster a cute gift, and me a beautiful card! If you have a set routine for your pooch or kitty, I am more than happy to follow it! Safety is also a top priority for me! I actually have an animal first aid kit that I bring with me, as well as access to a list of emergency vet clinics within all areas of Toronto and the GTA As well, feel free to reach out to me at anytime for pictures/updates or FaceTime calls. I know I always worry when leaving my doggo, so I will do everything I can so you won’t have to.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, or any behaviour challenges with people or other pets. It would also be very helpful to know if your pet needs any medication (injectable, oral, etc), as well if your pet needs to be taken out for a walk at a specific time, or if they need to be taken more than once a day.
A typical day
However your dog or kitty likes to have a good time, whether that entails going for a nice scenic walk, hanging out at the local dog park, playing a game with thier favourite toys, or cuddling up and watching a movie together, I am more than happy to do any type of fun activity! Me and my doggo always like to go for a walk along the beach, and have a picnic! I would love to plan the same activity with your furry friend if that is something that they might enjoy! I am also an avid Netflix and chiller so if your pet enjoys staying home and getting cozy, I am also so down to spending an evening doing just that!

Availability
I currently work part-time, and only have classes from 8-11am Mon- Fri, which leaves me with lots of time to love on and play with your furry friend! As long as I know in advance, my schedule is quite flexible. When I am away from home it’s usually for no more than a few hours. That means more time to spend with your pet!
