Pet care experience
I've been a foster dog mom off and on for 9 years and had over 15 dogs in my care. I convinced my family to start fostering too which led to the adoption of our family dog Zoey back in 2013. Even when not fostering, I find ways to have dogs in my life by helping friends with their pets or volunteering for pet care jobs when traveling abroad. With my fostering experience I've seen a wide range of dog behaviors and am equipped to handle many situations that can arise having a pet in the city. You can rest assured your baby will be well cared for!

I’m so happy to have found Sydney! She watched my dog Finn for an overnight visit and took great care of him. She was communicative before and during the visit. I highly recommend Sydney and hope to book her again in the future!
Sydney was pro-active about prepping for the boys’ first stay with her, and communication was clear and regular throughout. Giles unfortunately developed a stomach upset during part of his stay, but Sydney did a great job of communicating his situation and caring for his needs all while taking good care of both boys.
Sydney is great and has been wonderfully helpful with our dog! We will continue to use her dog walk and pet sitting services!

I have a large apartment with plenty of space to care for your pet along with an unfenced yard and several parks in walking distance. When at home, I typically would have the dog out of any crate and lounging as allowed and evenings they would be crated in my bedroom with me or left to sleep on their bed. They will have lots of play time and attention along with treats for good behavior :)

Please share all relevant commands the dog knows and their behavior on walks particularly as it relates to interacting with other dogs so I can be prepared. Also, it is helpful to know how often they are used to being walked and played with in your home.
A typical day
Jamaica Pond and the Arborteum are both within walking distance of where I live along with the Southwest Corridor and many residential streets so long walks are always possible. There is room for play time in the apartment as well to help tire any high energy dogs.

Availability
I've come back from an extended sabbatical from my career and am working just part-time right now. My hours are typically Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 9am - 1pm. Within those hours and outside I'm flexible for a range of dog services!
