Pet care experience
I’m an animal lover, ICU nurse, and regular cat shelter volunteer. I have plenty of experience working with dogs and cats. I've worked with my friend who breeds Anatolian Shepherd for 7 years before she moved up north. I helped keep the kennel clean, have handled them at dog shows, and would dogsit for extended stays, so I'm comfortable with very large breeds. I also watch many smaller dogs as well, and I had been with some of them for 7 years as well. The owners I sit for are very happy and always ask me to return when they require a dog sitter or walker. I volunteer weekly at a cat shelter and am comfortable with all personalities (even “spicy” ones), so watching cats isn’t a problem either!

Sydney has been helping me with drop in visits weekly since July. I have 3 cats and a great dane. They all love Sydney. She is very responsive and obviously an animal lover. We will keep using Sydney as long as she is available to us.
Sydney did a great job with Blaze. She followed directions with safety issues and Blaze loved her.
Sydney was very reliable! My mom got sick and I needed a dog walker for her 10 year old dog, and Sydney responded quickly and was able to walk my mom's dog while she was sick. It was a great relief to find her during this time!
Sydney has been doing drop in visits for my great dane Karma. Karma loves Sydney and it is apparent that Sydney connects with animals in a positive manner. My (2) cats love Sydney too. I will continue to use Sydney based on her availability moving forward and I highly recommend her to everyone.

Please let me know if your dog is wary of strangers and if I should come over a few times with you present until they are comfortable. Also if there are any treats they can/cannot have, and what exactly you would like for me to do (walk, play, brush, etc.).
A typical day
I will do most anything that your dog normally likes to do! I will walk them often, go swimming with them, play fetch, play with their toys, etc. If you have cats I will come and clean their litter box, play with them, refill food and water, and brush them.

I work nightshift 3 nights a week, so I have a fairly flexible schedule and am I especially available for early morning or afternoon walks.
