Ever since I was a little girl, all I ever cared about was the husbandry of animals. I was always the go-to person in my family that you could count on to help watch, feed, walk, play with your animal. I've worked at the APA in Missouri. It's a pet adoption center where I routinely cleaned out cats' and dogs' cages, gave them new food and water, and restrained them when given vaccination or blood draws. I also had an internship at Cornell University where I would be involved and monitor the enrichment activities in canines. This included running around the playpen, observing them play with one another, sticks, toys, and etc. I also had to scoop up all 160 of their poop. I attended a Veterinary assistant technical program in high school. There, I learned how to groom and feed animals ranging from canines, felines, reptiles, rabbits, and rodents. I recently just received my Bachelor's in Animal Science and am now going for my Master's in Biology in hopes to become a zoologist or something relative towards that.
