Pet care experience
I’ve always had and loved pets, especially dogs. My dad trained dogs when I was younger so raising and training them is something I’ve grown up with. I’ve had my own dog for 7 years and her health and happiness is my priority. My dog and I have lived with 3 roommates with cats or dogs, 2 of which were puppies. I have a 2 year old cat that joins us on hikes and adventures. I started pet sitting when I was young, so I’m bringing it back because I love and miss it!

Absolutely incredible experience! My dog Winnie is afraid of large dogs, but had an amazing time with Sydney. We had a health scare with Winnie right before dropping her off and we were so relieved that someone so kind and capable was watching our girl. Very kind, responsive. Obviously an amazing animal parent. Will be using Sydney again 100% and would recommend highly to everyone.
Sydney took such great care of our 7 year old pan with special needs (epilepsy). When we came to pick her up, she was excited to see us, but also she gave Sydney extra love too as if she was saying goodbye (Libby is usually ready to leave and drags us to our car, but we could tell she wouldn’t mind staying too. She was definitely loved there like she was their own. We also received great communication with picture updates. We will definitely book again! Thank you for loving Libby!
Sydney was absolutely amazing with our dog Ellie. She has separation anxiety and does not like to be alone at night and Sydney gave her all the love and attention she needed. We received lots of pictures and Ellie enjoyed her walks and adventures. We will definitely book with Sydney again!
My dog boarded with Sydney for almost 2 weeks. She settled in nicely, stayed on her schedule, and had a wonderful vacation! I received photos of my dog throughout the stay. ???

My dog is my baby, my cat is my best pal. I live in a townhouse with a medium sized back/side unfenced yard, I take my dog out on a leash and hang out with her outside. There is a pond with a walking trail a few yards from my backdoor. When it comes to my home, dogs can be in furniture but I’ve trained mine to ask first. I’ve pet sat for pets with health issues and strict diets and take pride in making sure I care for them the way their owner would. As an obsessed pet parent I’m always happy to give updates while you’re away.

My dog is very tolerant of high-energy pets and dogs with possessive or dominance issues. She has helped socialize puppies and is well trained on her neutral commands so I am comfortable with her being around most any dog or cat. That being said I need to be made aware if your dog is dominance assertive, food or resource possessive/aggressive, or territorial so I can be prepared to create the best environment for them.
A typical day
All activities are to client preferences. I have a fetch obsessed lab-mix so that is a staple in our activities. Cuddles are a must every day. I take my dog (and cat) on hikes, regular short walks, jogging, trips into Lowes, to local parks, and on car rides. There is a greenway trail walking distance from my home so I regularly take my dog there on walks.

I have a very flexible schedule. I am a virtual student and a server, this makes my weeks very open. So making time for my own pets and others is easy.
