I’ve had pets my whole life (dogs, cats, fish) and currently have a 10–yr old beagle. I love cats and dogs equally and have been petsitting for years!

The park here spans the entire width of our apartment complex. If here, we can spend lots of time out there or on a leashed walk through a residential area. I also study from home and can spend as much time as you need at your home with your pet, as long as there’s wifi! My schedule allows me lots of flexibility.

A typical day
We will start the day walking about 1.5 miles in a residential neighborhood. There are some hills and an awesome park at the half-way point. Then, plenty of play time inside with our basket of toys and outside at the huge fenced-in dog park. We tend to have family play time inside after dinner and then all relax on the couch to wind down. Before bed, we practice tricks like sit, shake, roll over, and more!

Availability
As a full-time medical student, I have the option to do all my classes and studying from home. I walk my own dog regularly every morning and care for her all day. So most pets will be a perfect fit into our schedule! We have a huge, fenced in dog park at our complex so there is plenty of space to run and play.
