Pet care experience
I grew up owning several dogs, cats, birds, and rabbits. I spent all my high school years volunteering at the local animal shelter in addition to watching various neighbors and friends pets while they were on vacation. I also worked at a doggy daycare one summer in college. I have owned my dog Abbie since June of 2020 and am her primary caregiver. I have always had a passion for animals and truly believe in the positive power of a good early morning walk for their well-being!

Sydney was a great communicator and I could tell in the pictures that Blue felt comfortable with her. Blue had plenty of water and food when we got home and seemed happy.

As the other reviews say, Sydney is awesome and so friendly!! So great with our cats and was very communicative. Fortunately, she was able to quickly extend her stay due to us being out of town longer. Would recommend!!
Sydney took care of our cats while we were out of town and it couldn’t have been a better experience. I got daily updates and pictures, and she did everything I asked her to do, and what the cats demanded, lol! I won’t hesitate to ask her to petsit again, and would recommend her highly!

Let me know in advance about preferences (harness vs collar, etc), as well as how they feel about approaching other dogs. My default will be avoiding other dogs on our walks.
A typical day
I like to make sure the dogs get plenty of varied environments/scents for them to explore! I also try to keep them on shady routes during the summer months.

Availability
I work full time so will be available before 8 or after 4 each weekday. I will have more availability on the weekends, and especially enjoy long Sunday evening walks!
