As a former caretaker with Wedington Animal hospital for a year, I have gained the knowledge and skills to handle house pets of all types and behaviors. I am comfortable with the friendliest and the most timid of dogs. I am very comfortable with senior or disabled dogs. I have a female Siberian husky whom I rescued from an abusive breeding farm. I have spent countless days building trust with her, as well as training her out of aggressive behaviors. Now we're best pals! She loves making new friends, too. I am trained to give baths, express anal glands, trim nails, and clean ears. I am very active. I love hiking and I enjoy early morning walks. I have seat covers and seat belts for dogs in my car as well. I hike trails on the weekends, and dogs are more than welcome to tag along! (Trails include: Lake Wilson, Lake Wedington, Mount Sequoiah, Ozark National Forest, Buffalo Wilderness, Devil's Den) Again, please note that I do have a female husky at my home at all times. I also have a young child who may or may not always be at my home. If you have a wary, or an aggressive dog, let me know ahead of time so I can accommodate.
