I grew up training my first dog, a yellow lab, from the age of 8. We took her on regular walks and jogs. As she now nears old age, we care for her in other ways than runs that she can no longer go on. My animals have taught me the versatility of caring for pets. My younger dog, we rescued from an abusive family and she took weeks of warming up to people and understanding the idea that she was safe. Lastly, I’ve also taken care of our family cat for the past 8 years. My own pet family has taught me so much about how to care for animals. I have also taken care of my neighbors and family friends animals as well. I can walk, bathe, feed and care for any animal.
