Sydney did a great job with the cats. I had a great trip knowing that the cats were in good hands. I will use her on my next trip.

I hesitated to leave a public review, but feel like I owe it to fellow pet owners who want to make sure their pets are in good hands. I don't know if this was just an off time or what, but we did not have a good experience with Sydney this last trip. It was like pulling teeth to get updates, she had someone over without asking, and what broke the camel's back is that she left our dogs for over 10 hours without our consent. She claimed to not expect to be gone that long (at a birthday party), but when we're paying someone to take care of our dogs we expect that to be their priority. The first time she sat for us we came home to a completely empty water dish but brushed it off as a one-off. We know now that this is the norm. She was scheduled to sit for us this coming week and we had to cancel. At the cancellation, I messaged her all the reasons why we weren't comfortable having her back, in hopes that maybe we'd have a decent dialogue, but I got nothing back. Again, maybe we just didn't vibe or maybe my multiple nudges at getting more updates during her stay weren't received, but I felt like I needed to ensure others knew about our experience for the sake of your pets.
