Safety, trust & environment

My pet care is all about rest and relaxation. Pets are allowed on all furniture (owner permitting) and are invited to sleep in my bed. Kisses, cuddles, and general affection are in constant supply. Your dogs may have sniffed pee-mails telling tale of my legendary ear scritches and deep tissue massages 😂 For energetic dogs I have a mid-sized fenced in back yard to play in, and I can take them on walks around the neighborhood or on nearby trails. I am more than willing to continue training any commands or behaviors you are trying to enforce. I keep toys, treats, some extra food, a large dog crate (will only use with owner permission), door jingle bells, and ceramic dog bowls with a stand on hand. My yard is secure, but I also have a tether I can use if owners are concerned about their containment. I have a local support system and live near a vet in the event of an emergency. I can issue medications and clean up messes if need be. Anything your baby needs to stay happy and healthy!

A typical day

Morning: I typically don’t wake up earlier than 8am, but I never ignore a dog that needs attention earlier! Work hours: I work till 6:00 at the latest, but can regularly leave my desk to let the dog out, feed them, or give them needed attention After work: generally I prefer snuggling up and chilling on my couch, but an energetic dog will get some play time in the yard, a walk around the neighborhood, a walk down some local trails, or some training time! Unavailability: I have religious events I prefer to attend in person Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons. These usually require I be gone for around 3 hours at a time. I can attend these events remotely if need be.

Professional dog snuggler!

Pet care experience

I grew up with dogs in the house, and now that I’ve grown up, moved out, and my family dog has passed, I miss doggy companionship! I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family ever since. I love training dogs, and am quite knowledgeable about proper dog training techniques, diet, and general care. I’ve cared for elderly, medicated, fearful, and young dogs, and I’ve raised a few kitten litters! I know it can be nerve wracking to leave your babies alone with a stranger, so I will make sure you stay updated so you know how your pup is settling in!

Sydney was a rockstar sitter. She was very observant of our dog's well-being and made sure to regularly send pictures and updates! She also accommodated an unexpected early pick-up. Out of all the sitters we've had so far, she has definitely been 5-star!

Sydney was kind in giving the family frequent updates on Cooper while providing him a fun vacation! She took him out for walks and was accommodating to our needs. Sydney is the best!

Sydney was absolutely incredible! She kept us updated with tons of photos and detailed daily updates, which made us feel completely at ease the entire time. She followed our dog’s routine perfectly and truly went the extra mile. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. We would 100% book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, thoughtful, and exceptional.
