As someone who owns two dogs, pet care is a priority in my life. Both of my pups get plenty of one-on-one time as well as long walks and enrichment in the house. During the day, the pups are crated while I am at school, but if my boyfriend is off of work they get to run around and play. As soon as I get home the dogs get taken out and fed. Along with daily care, I take care of all of their grooming and medical needs as well.

I currently live in apartment complex which has a dog play area for your furry friends to get plenty of exercise. There is also a trail connected to the complex which will be utilized for long walks and plenty of sniffing opportunities. Both of my pups are very friendly and would be happy to be your pet’s playmate during their stay.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs ahead of time. I have some barriers like a baby gate for stairs, but am prepared to get what I need for your pet to have the best stay possible. If your pet has a specific schedule let me know that too. I will do my best to adapt to the schedule so that your pet can be on their usual routine and not have to adjust to multiple different changes.
A typical day
I enjoy taking the dogs I watch on hikes and swimming in creeks. I have a long line to make sure the dogs are safe, but also allow them to have room to run. My apartment complex is next to a trail, so there will be plenty of opportunities for some outside adventures. Once everyone is tired and we return home, I like to snuggle up with the pups and watch a movie. As far as cats go, I allow them to choose how they want to spend their time. Want to play in a cardboard box or with a toy not a problem I have plenty of options. Prefer to snuggle up or find their own spot to lay, I can work with that too.

Hello! I love all types of pets and currently have two dogs of my own. I am a student at Virginia-Maryland college of veterinary medicine trying to earn some extra money by doing what I love, playing with pets. I have experience with all types of pets at varying sizes and personalities. During my undergraduate career, I raised two Seeing Eye Dogs and helped other raisers with training. During this time, I worked at a veterinary hospital, participated in animal specific events like vaccination clinics, and groomed. From healthy puppies and kittens to seniors who need medication, I have seen it all and am prepared to help with whatever your pet needs. I hope I can meet your fur babies and shower them with love while you’re away. I offer additional grooming services, ask about them if your interested.
