Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs my whole life... and started getting paid for it when I was 15. Today I volunteer at a local dog adoption each week.. Taking care of dogs is second nature to me. The is nothing more enjoyable then getting to combine work with play (and a fee tail wags!).... All of our furry friends have different personalities that are a joy to discover through a few treats and belly rubs. Whether they want to run around and play, throw a ball, wrestle with a chew toy, or just sit while we pet them spending time with a doggo is just the best. Every dog is different and I think the key is patience and figuring out what makes them special. I've had experience watching with small and large dogs and feel confident with both.
Reviews
Sydney is always my "go-to" house/pet sitter. All of my critters love her!! And I know she loves them as well when we're gone!
Sydney is a repeat walker/sitter for our family as each visit is an exceptional experience for our pets. This time around she was helping us welcome and acclimate Madi, our newest addition, while I was away for two weeks; she fit right in with the family routine, was careful and responsible for taking Madi to doggie daycare on her play-dates, and communicated regularly with myself and my daughter while I was away. She will continue to be my go-to as I know my pets are in very good, loving care.
Sydney was a fantastic choice for our pets [2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 gecko, 1 tortoise!]; even the younger finicky shy cat warmed up to her! Sydney responded quickly to any messages, and even did the "tidying up" before she left. She is on our "speed-dial" for future sittings!
Sydney did a great job looking after our two dogs and our house. She is very responsive with replies and sent lots of photos during her stay to keep us updated on our doggos. We will definitely be calling Sydney again.

Safety, trust & environment
The safety of your pet is always the priority. If there is a backyard it is important to be fensed in. Also, if your dog enjoys chewing all power cords must be out of sight or protected. Water must always be available
Information Sydney M. would like to know about your pet
Any special needs your dog might have: do they have any food aggression, or sleep aggression? Do they like other dogs sniffing them when they are on walks? What is a sign that your dog is feeling anxious and how do you calm them down?
A typical day
Fun activities include multiple walks, lots of pets, playing with toys, and enrichment tools. In essence anything that I am doing your dog will get to do with me as well.

My schedule is very open. I work from home so I am able to take time for walks, a ball toss, or some belly rubs throughout the day. I am also free weekends as well.
