Pet care experience
I have been dog sitting for the past four years. I am a freshman at the University of Montana and am originally from Helena where I had a large client base. I have experience with aggressive dogs, puppies less then a week old, blind dogs, diabetic dogs (includes giving insulin), and older dogs that need special care! I also have significant experience with other animals, especially horses and cats! I owned horses for 7 years so I have plenty of experience with dealing with everything that goes along with them, including basic medical issues. I also love hiking and walking, and would be more then happy to get your dogs out and about to get some exercises!

Sydney is a wonderful sitter for our two dogs. She communicates well and our dogs were very happy when we got home. One of our dogs had an uneasy stomach and Sydney handled the situation very nicely. She was sensitive to make sure our dog recovered first before feeding her anything that could cause more trouble. We recommend Sydney and will use her again.

I try to spend as much time with the pet as they need. I will not leave them inside without a bathroom break for longer then four to eight hours (depending on the dog and what the owner requests). I make it a priority to make sure they are shown love, and get to play and get some energy out. I make sure to keep them on there typical schedule and I do my best to make sure they feel just as comfortable with me as they do with there own family! I try to treat all animals as if they are my own because they are your family and they deserve the same care as my own dog!

It is important I know if the dog has any special needs such as a specific feeding schedule, medication that needs administered, or if they have any aggressive tendencies.
A typical day
I love going on hikes as often as possible! If your dog is good on or off leash I would love to take them out for a hike, or even just a short walk. If you want them to go to a dog park I would be happy to do that too. If they are not good to do any of that I am more then happy to sit at your home and just play with them there!

I currently am just going to school, so other then when I am at class I have plenty of time to be with your animals!
