Pet care experience
I'm a reliable person who has been taking care of dogs for most of my life. I had my own 17 year old Beagle and I'm her primary caretaker. She passed away in November 2019. I administered her medication at night, bathed her, played with her, and I took her out for walks whenever she was to. I also dog watch for my friends often so I have gained experience with dog watching/walking. I make sure to always give them lots of exercise indoors and also on our walks. My fiancé and I rescued a pupper in January of this year, she just turned 1 years older on October 18! We’ve trained her, she’s very well behaved, but is still adjusting to other dogs. Her best friend is my moms yorkie but at the park she is still shy. I am a full time Pepperdine student doing their online Masters program to get my marriage family therapist license. My online classes are Monday’s at 5-7pm and Wednesday’s at 5:30-7:30pm. Though I do homework during the week most of the day, I can still take care of your pupper baby with no problems at all because I do the same for our little babe. I am also allergic to cats and cannot stay at houses with cats as it has given me asthma. (that review was when I tried to watch my friends cat).

We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. Sydney is a sweetheart. She took perfect care of our 17 year old fur baby, who needs a lot of care- including diaper changes and lots of love for his separation anxiety. We came home to a happy doggy and our home exactly how we left it. We will use Sydney for any of our future get aways!
I am thrilled to be able to give a 5-Star review for Sydney. Sydney house sat for Trigger, our very active 8 year Lab. He loves her! We love her! Trigger was so happy when Sydney came for the meet and greet and then when she came to stay. Sydney took Trigger for long walks, played with him, hung out with him and gave a lot of loving. Sydney remembered to give Trigger his vitamins and kept him active. Sydney sent tons of photos to keep me up to date. She always asked if there was anything she needed to do. She kept the place spotless and is so friendly and helpful. I could go on all day. We are booking Sydney already for our next trip. Thank you Sydney! Thank you Rover!
Sydney is a very compassionate and dependable person around all living companions. As a lifelong best friend to her own furry companion (and a human family full of their own), she understands the care and attention unique to every dog.
My work schedule is pretty hectic and I was in need of someone to watch my dogs on the odd days. Sydney was the perfect fit and exactly what I was looking for! She follows my care instructions to the tee, her attitude is great, and my dogs absolutely adore her! It’s also a great option to have photo updates when I’m away on a trip. Highly recommended.

Due to the restrictions of where I live I cannot house pets in my backhouse that I rent with my fiancé. We do have a fenced backyard, though, and our dog has a lot of room to run around and play in.

I love to work with small to medium sized dogs but I would also love to work with your larger fur babies if I can! I love all dogs.
A typical day
We can go on walks in my neighborhood, which is very nice and animal friendly. If the dog is ok with being in a car, we can go to a nice walking area and take a mini-hike. When we are at home, we will play with their favorite toys and be outside to get lots of fresh air.

I have my online classes through Pepperdine on Monday’s at 5-7pm and Wednesday’s 5:30-7:30pm. Though I do homework throughout the day, I still always play and take care of my pupper Juno.
