This was my first time using a "professional" sitter. My dogs have been watcedt by family/friends and boarded before without a single issues. During my very short 3 day vacation, it seems like my animals were not taken care of. While I was away, I had to initiate basically all the updates about my animals, which was hard as there was a 3 hrs time difference. I asked for an update every day and was never once told that my older dog was not eating his food. Instead Sydney did not feel the need to let me know/ask for advice and instead just kept filling his bowl over the uneaten food. When I arrived home, there was dried old poop on the carpet, dries crusty pee stains in my kitchen, and a handmade quilt made by my Gran soaked in urine. It's hard to imagine the dogs were taken out as they can go 8 hrs holding their businesses and my animals have never had an accident in the house. There were two rolls of chewed up paper towel everywhere, which the dogs obviously got into and the cats litter scoop was in the litter box and it was so full it didn't look like it had been scooped since we left Thursday (got back Sunday). I'm so disappointed in this service. My dogs and cat are like my kid and at the least they were neglected the entire weekend, not being provided ample opportunity to do there business. My dog won't eat unless he has been given time to poop, if he hadn't eaten so much that the food bowl was completely full he hadn't eaten all weekend. At most this treatment of animals is abuse. I I trusted this person with my precious animals and they seemed to have suffered.

Sydney is by far our first choice when we need a dog sitter. We have used her v on several occasions, the last one for a period of a week. During that time, she kept the house neat and tidy and stayed in communication with us on a regular basis, eliminating the stress of leaving the dog, cat and house behind.
