Pet care experience
I am a recent graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University, I studied biology and now I am working in a lab! As most people here I come from a background filled with family pets and companions. Although I would describe myself as more of a cat person I miss my belgian mal and would like to experience the easy going and spirited nature that dogs have. I enjoy spending time with all animals and can provide the best care to any furry friend.

Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I care for my pets by first assessing their necessities (food/water/bathroom). It is also important to have a clean environment for animals to keep up hygiene and avoid potential hazards. This would be making sure there are no chocking hazards as well.
Information Sydney M. would like to know about your pet
I think age and how much house training the dog has is very important to anticipate the dogs energy level and attention needed. It can help with the care along the way.
A typical day
I always like clean dog parks. I have found some in Richmond that are more low key than others and I find that a more quiet dog park the better and more calm the dog will be. Although I also think socializing is important- up to every individual dog!

Availability
I have my availability on weekends since I work Monday through Friday at a lab in Richmond. Alternatively I am available evenings weekdays as well.
