Pet care experience
Hello all! As a current dog owner and someone who has been around dogs their whole life, I enjoy dog sitting and have lots of experience with taking care of animals. I started watching pets for neighbors when I was around 12 years old, and have been doing so on and off since then. I am a highly organized and responsible person and would treat your dogs as my own in taking care of them. I am completely willing to take care of your dog however you see fit - play with them, walk them, etc - and especially enjoy walking dogs around parks in Brookhaven and am open to taking them to a dog park. I am also willing to provide updates if necessary - I understand how valuable your pets are to you and would respect your requests in taking care of them.

Sydney checked in on my dog for a few days, and although my dog was nervous at first since it was her first time having home check-ins, it went as well as I could have hoped.
Sydney did a great job with Abby and Nancy. She sent pictures at every visit and the kittens seemed to be having a good time her. And Sydney came over for a meet and greet which I really appreciated. She got to meet the kittens with me and see where everything was. I would recommended Sydney highly!
Absolutely loved her!!! She was amazing for being able to take care of my dog in such a short notice! She was thoughtful and sent me some cute pictures!

While I don't offer overnight stay services as I have two roommates, you can be assured that your dog will be given the utmost care. My own dog is a rescue and has needed extra love and care after dealing with some health problems from being a stray.
Information Sydney L. would like to know about your pet
If your dog is older or has any special needs, let me know ahead of time what extra attention they may need. I helped care for my family's golden retriever in her later years when her back legs no longer worked properly, so I have experience with dogs who need a little extra help. I'd also like to know of your dog's general temperament and anything that may bother them along with things that they enjoy.
A typical day
I am very open to what the pet owner needs in their dog's walks or house visits - I realize that every dog is different, so I'm very flexible and accommodating to those needs. I tend to walk dogs in safe, low-trafficked areas and in parks and would be happy to play with your pup with whatever toys they may enjoy. I am also open to going on a run with your pet if they like a little extra exercise!

Availability
I am a teacher currently on summer break, so my schedule is open for much of the summer. I'm especially available for visits during the work day if you have to be in the office all day and need someone to drop by and check in on your pup.
