Pet care experience
I’m very enthusiastic and love spending time with dogs. I was a dog sitter for multiple long standing clients through college (6 wk puppies up to 2 yrs). After that, I had a dog with a partner for 3 years who I adored. I have a lot of love and attention to give and would love to share that in others’ lives. I’m active and willing to meet any demands or desires while caring for your dog, if that means running around or just spending some time together.

Sydney did so great with my elderly Pomeranian! He usually takes a while to warm up to people, but he warmed up to her pretty quickly. She was really communicative and sent lots of pictures. She was also very respectful of my home. I plan to request her again next time I need a dog sitter!
Sydney was AMAZING!! She created a shared album for us to see what her and Brinley were up to while we were away which I loved! She left our place VERY clean and even vacuumed. I would very highly recommend and will definitely rebook should I need more dog sitting services. Thank you for everything Sydney :)

Pets are welcomed in my home as readily as anyone. We allow dogs anywhere, one of my roommates keeps a cat in his room in a separate area of the house. In other homes I’m always keen to respect peoples belongings and remember that I am providing a service in someone’s personal space.

I don’t have breed preferences, I like to know anything very specific to a dog though. Some dogs aren’t allowed to tug, like if they’re hunting dogs. If your dog has any needs, I’m happy to adjust care accordingly!
A typical day
I like nearby Alberta Park and many of the neighborhood streets are great for long, enriching walks. I also can physically participate in throwing and tugging games.

Availability
I’m looking for ways to restructure my free time, following changes in my work situation. I have a lot of experience and availability and being around animals is something I love. I currently work sporadically in 4-6 hour shifts locally.
