A Hike A Day for Fido!
Pet care experience
I grew up with small, medium, and large dogs, and, to be honest, I miss having them around. Currently I am owned by a bengal cat--essentially a very territorial cat-dog. So while I cannot adopt a dog of my own, I would love to fill that dog shaped hole in my heart through quality time with your pup! I've been dog sitting for medium and large dogs for the last three years. I am very familiar with dogs and the full range of dog behaviors. I love taking dogs along for a hike, and they seem to love it too! As a part-time couch potato, I am also happy to catch some snuggle time with your pup on the couch! I would also love to play with their favorite toy, and help them show off their tricks. I am also familiar with working with older and/or sick pets that need extra care and attention. No care-taking task is too big or too tough for me!

We were so happy that Sydney was able to care for our dogs, frogs, and fish while we were away for the week. She was great about letting us know how everyone was doing while we were away, and they were all in excellent shape when we got back. As an added bonus, the house was cleaner when we returned than it was when we left. I wholeheartedly recommend Sydney to anyone wanting to enjoy a vacation without worrying about pets. My kids told me we need to contact her as soon as we plan another trip because they are most comfortable having her care for their animals.
Fantastic dogsitter!
Sydney took great care of our old black lab for a long weekend in 2017. She stayed in our attached ADU with the pup, and he was happy and healthy upon our return! His care didn't require anything fancy, but I felt totally confident that he would be well fed, well walked, and well loved while we were away. And he was!
Sydney has done everything from dog sit for long trips, take my dog on hikes, or just spent time cuddling with my sweet but high-energy pup over the past several years. My dog can be a lot to handle for someone less experienced, but Sydney always does a great job tiring her out with activities (not easy to do!) and also giving her lots of love and cuddles (which she also loves). Additionally, Sydney does a great job communicating and keeping my up to date when I'm away and takes plenty of adorable photos and videos to share with me. I'd highly recommend her for any of your dog care needs!

I love taking dogs to places like Forest Park to get a nice log hike in. Neighborhood parks are also a fun spot. For dogs who are more interested in some cuddle time on the couch, I'm happy to do that too!
