Pet care experience
I have worked at a Pet Hotel and Resort in the play groups and watched over nights for both cats and dogs. I've been volunteering at animal shelters as a enrichment/walker and trainer for 5 years. Last I have been pet sitting up to 3 households of pups and cats at the same time and dozens of times over the past 5 years. I also Have a year of Vet Tech training.

Syd was amazing! They were very punctual and always made sure to keep me in the loop. I was very nervous about being away from my dog but they put me at ease with how communicative and detail oriented they were.

Sydney was a great pet sitter! She listened to all of my directions and actually got one of my scaredy kitties to play with her!! She is a kitty whisperer for sure! Sydney was a volunteer at an animal shelter that I also volunteered at. They have been a dedicated volunteer for the past 5 years, constantly looking for more trainings and ways to help out to become a valued member of the shelter. They work amazingly well with dogs, treating each one as a friend and spoiling them to no end. I have never seen a dog get more excited than when Sydney is nearby, calling out their name. They treat dogs with patience, understanding, gentleness, and kindness. Sydney also watched my own dog for a week while I was out of town, and I have never seen him so happy! I received pictures of his many exciting adventures during my vacation. I think he was even sad when I returned home. I make it a point to keep you pets away from any potential danger or main roads on walks while getting them to more enriching places like parks. At home I try to always be in the same room with them and interacting with them. If they go outside I always keep a close eye and enrichment.

I feel it is important to know how goo they do while harnessing up, if they are sensitive at touch any where, food motivated, how fast they like going, strong puller, wary of strangers, and if they are friendly to cats, dogs, and kids.
A typical day
I love bringing dogs to more enriching areas like parks and gardens. I make it a point to try to stay away from main streets and not get them face to face with another unknown furry friend. I read the dog behavior and personality aided with parents suggestion for how the dog would like enrichment through walks, play, snuggles or runs.

Availability
I am currently working only 16 hours on the weekends and going to school at the university for up to 3 hours a day and 5 hours on Thursday (not consecutively. I am open any night to care for your pet. Weekends are open availability. Monday Wednesday and Friday I'm have a flexible schedule. And a more open schedule in weekends.
