Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12! I not only looked after my own pets, but also watched my neighbors and friends’ pets as well. My mom used to work at the humane society so I have plenty of experience with different breeds (though terriers will always have a special place in my heart). I’m an incoming senior at Chapman University and live with other girls who are all dog lovers like myself :) I’m free all summer to take care of your dogs! I usually wake up early and go on walks in the Orange Circle area if that’s something you’d be interested in for your pet. I have fully fenced backyard with grass and trees and all that fun stuff. My house is also dog-proofed because I usually have a dog living with me during the school year but he’s at home over the summer!

Sydney was incredible! We booked her super last minute due to travels and she took such great care of our Kodak. He can be timid in new situations and she immediately won his (& our) trust! She took him on long walks and it was obvious he was sad to leave her when we picked him up. :) Her roommates were accommodating to his needs as well & dog lovers. Would recommend Sydney & we hope to have her care for our lil dude again soon!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Communication was on point! Home was a welcoming/ clean environment, and doggy proofed. We were traveling from Seattle and left our dogs leash at some rest stop somewhere, and she had an extra to provide over our pup’s stay. We were grateful for her kindness and flexibility. It was super obvious our pup was happy in the photos/ videos/ and at pick up.
Last month I had to go on an unexpected trip and had no one to watch my golden retriever, Charlie, for a week and a half. I was in a bit of a bind but Sydney came to the rescue. Charlie is a very anxious pup but very friendly. It takes him awhile to grow a liking towards people but Sydney and him clicked right away. She is my top sitter and Charlie is always so happy to see her. She has a couple roommates as well so he is always getting attention. I 100% recommend Sydney as a reliable sitter.
Sydney is a natural dog lover having grown up with and loving and caring for three different dogs (a golden/lab mix, a whippet mix and a poodle/sky terrier mix) her whole life. She is not scared of dogs and is familiar with providing consistent commands. She taught her dogs tricks and took them for walks. Sydney is well qualified as a loving dog caregiver.
