I have no breed preferences. It is always helpful to know temperament and what behavior they typically display when owner leaving them. I want them to feel at home. I would love to know: your daily routine, feeding schedule ; how they react to pedestrians and other dogs when walking ; and any things to watch out for (shoes, chewing, cables etc. ); whether treats are allowed is all information that is very appreciated. If your dog is prone to excessive anxiety, eg. sustained barking, please let me know, as I don't like to burden my neighbors. I want your pup to be relaxed and happy, and will do all I can to be sure that happens. I prefer dogs that are house-trained or at very least, use wee-wee pads. If your dog is prone to accidents, please be honest about that, so I can prepare accordingly with regard to time and protecting my home. If your puppy is still being crate- trained, you will need to bring your crate.

I live in the East Village across from Tompkins Square Park and not far from the East River so walks in the park would be an easy and regular activity. Although, I don't have a dog of my own I would absolutely love to be able to take your dog to a doggy park if he/she is comfortable around other dogs.
