Experienced pet carer
Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of pets, including my own, for almost 7 years now. I’ve helped take care of pets that are small, medium, and large. In addition, I’ve taken care of pets that are healthy and sick, young and old. I have also had to help give pets medication so I am somewhat experienced in that area. I also have experience is taking care of clients that have more than 1 pet. I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, so taking care of animals is something I truly love doing. I am also looking into getting pet CPR certified somewhere in the future. I do go to school full time, but I will still give the pet lots of attention! I am looking to take care of the pet in the owners home since my family doesn’t have much room. However, I will still make sure the pet has a ton of fun at home with lots of walks, loving, and play time!
Reviews
My four-legged babies love Sydney! Makes time away so much easier.
She was wonderful. She worked with us and she sent us great updates and pictures.
Sydney was the perfect dog sitter! Our boys were so happy when we came home, it was evident they enjoyed their weekend while we were away. She was very responsive and communicated everyday. We will definitely call Sydney every time we need a sitter!
Sydney has watch our dog, Charlie, along with my sister’s dogs on multiple occasions. We always call Syd anytime we go out of town and need someone to watch our dog and house. She is absolutely amazing. She gives us updates on how things are going. She even comes over before our trip so that she knows exactly what to do and where things are. She is very reasonably priced and gives the best care to any dog she is watching.

I would prefer to watch the pet in the owners home. I know a lot of dogs feel most comfortable being at home. If the owners have a fenced yard, I will gladly go outside and play with the dog. If not, and the dog and owner are comfortable with it, I will happily take the dog to a park to walk around and get some exercise. I will try and keep their routine as normal as possible to help them since some dogs seem to get anxious when their owners leave, and continuing with their normal routine will hopefully ease some of that anxiety.
Information Sydney G. would like to know about your pet
I am open to watching all dog breeds. Here are some questions I usually ask owners about their dogs: Are they allowed up on furniture? Do they have a set time that they receive their meals? Do you limit their water or is it always available to them? Do they take any medication? Are they supposed to be kenneled when planning on leaving the house for a while? How often are they supposed to receive treats?
A typical day
I like to try and keep the clients pet on their usual routine so I will take them on walks wherever the pet is used to going. I know dogs love to play, especially the younger ones, so I will gladly get out their toys if they have any. In addition I will give them lots of pets and loving!
