Pet care experience
Having grown up with pets, I have always had a deep affection for animals. Over time, I have gained a great deal of experience pet-sitting for neighbors and friends of my parents. One of the things I enjoy most about caring for pets is spending quality time with them and giving them the love and attention they need when their owners are away. Sydney was a great house sitter! She took great care of my dog, gave him all the meds and exercise he needed, and he had so much fun while I was away. She kept me updated throughout the stay, and left my house spotless! 10/10 would hire again.
Sidney is amazing, she made it work for my emergency trip, and it was only a day before notice. My kitties seem really relaxed and well fed. I will totally ask for Sidney again anytime I need to travel.
I highly recommend Sydney. My two girls received excellent care and attention, and my house was very well kept. Sydney checked in with us regularly which is comforting when leaving your fur babies at home while out of town. Definitely a five-star service!
Sydney did a fantastic job watching my cat Marlowe! Marlowe really hates being left alone for long stretches and has previously been really anxious when he’s only had someone come by to feed him while I’m gone. Sydney hung out with him overnight and it is a world of difference! She kept me regularly updated on how he was doing (with picture!), answered any message from me very promptly, and took great care of my home in my absence. I will also fully admit I was very anxious and helicopter parenting ahead of this trip given that Marlowe’s done poorly with sitters in the past. Sydney was non judgmental about my anxiety and her calm and attention to detail gave me confidence I left Marlowe in good hands. He had a great time with her and I would absolutely book her again!

A typical day
A typical day with the dogs I care for usually starts with a morning walk at a local park such as Belle Isle, Forest Hill Park, or the nearby Manchester Dog Park. I love playing games like fetch and tug-of-war with the pups, and on nice days we might also visit a dog park like Barker Field in Byrd Park or Chimborazo Park Dog Park. In the evenings, I make sure the dogs are comfortable and relaxed before settling in for the night. I always aim to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the dogs in my care.
