Growing up, I was surrounded by many dogs. Goldens, sausage dogs, border collies, bully’s, pit mixes! You name it! My grandma’s golden retriever, baigh (bay) was my first puppy love! He was so energetic and very food motivated. I slowly learned to teach the basic tricks, and even completed a wells humane society dog training course with my grandmas dog! Slightly after that, my mother’s coworker was rehoming their brown lab, Penny! I had loved the dogs we had been around, and we got a house. I knew a dog sitting in the yard would complete everything. I swore up and down I would take care of a dog, mom could not see the love through all the slobber though. Penny, who had perfect timing, changed everything for her as she was super well trained and respectful. Penny came to stay with us for a week, while my mom secretly surveilled me to see if I was really ready for a dog. I played with her, took her on my regular walks around the trail systems, and expressed my sadness that she’d be gone or stuck in her home with dogs who didn’t like her. Since I had just shown interest in training my grandmas , my mum finally let the warm wet slobber of Penny soak her heart! Since then, I’ve met plenty more dogs, small, big, old, little, I love them all! Whether your pup is a couch hog or a energetic fluff ball, they won’t be bored with me!

Safety, trust & environment
I’m very cautious around open doors, and always assume your kitty will try to run outdoors. I like to watch while they eat to ensure they’re not eating too fast or stealing each others dinner. I always like to touch base on your established vet practice and the distance + route there from your house, where the cat carriers are located, any previous medical conditions / medications your kitty takes. I also encourage any tips of things you’d like me to specifically refrain your cat from doing (certain rooms you wouldn’t like them in, the plant that just won’t stop dying because they munch on it) or things you’d specifically like me to do with them or add to their routine while you’re away!

She was great about giving me updates and pictures. I could tell both my dog and cat were happy and cared for.
This was the first time we used Sydney-she was amazing with our anxiety-filled senior dog. Sydney gave her love and care and sent several pictures and activity updates daily (sometimes several updates). We feel very thankful for her care of our old girl.
Sidney did a wonderful job sitting for us and our 3 small dogs for 4 nights. We hope she is available every time we need a pet sitter. She provided photos every day and there were no issues the entire time. Thanks again Sydney!

Sydney is one of the most considerate, responsible hours and pet sitters I have ever had. When she is on the job, she sends sweet pictures of my pet, sending little updates. She leaves my home clean and treats it as her own. Checking in when needed. My pets love her, as do I!
My family has had Sydney care for our cat for the past two years. Syd is reliable, trustworthy and compassionate - she truly cares about the animals she pet sits for! Syd takes the extra time to get to know your pets, she cares about their habits and works to make sure the pets are comfortable with her being in their space. We have recommended Sydney to all our friends and family whenever they’ve asked for a pet sitter - she is wonderful and we are grateful for her.

Schedule
I’m currently self employed doing cat sitting for those previous 3 clients I mentioned, so I’m looking for some sits in between and to grow my client base and meet some fur babies! I love driving, and have a barn car with low miles, so distance is not an issue for me! I’m fully open for whatever trips you need help with!
