WFH Girlie - Dog + Cat Sitter
Pet care experience
Hey Y'all! I'm Sydney! I am from Michigan originally and come from a big breed dog lover family! During college at MSU, I spent 3 months every spring house/cat sitting for a retired couple each year. I tended to their two kitties (Leo is the orange kitty in the pictures and Biaggio is camera shy) with tender love and care. I work remotely and have a super flexible schedule.

Sydney Brodeur Clay has cared for my dogs and cat for many years now. Two of our dogs have special medical needs that require multiple medications to be administered daily. She was responsible for the care of our elderly dog as well as our giant breed puppy. Walks, feeding, exercise, playtime and companionship are a few of the responsibilities she had with our babies. It's her compassion and love for our pets, that give us peace of mind when they were in her care.
Sydney really loves animals and spending time with fuzzy friends! Sydney has helped me out by checking on my dog and cat when I’ve gone out of town and she’s so thoughtful and my fuzzy kids loved spending time with her.
Sydney is an extremely reliable and loving pet caregiver. She took care of my pets on many occasions and also did a long term pet-sitting, house sitting job for my husband and me while we took a 3 month trip. I trusted her completely to give good care and love to my pets and had total confidence that she could live in our home and take care of day to day obligations there. I can not say enough good things about her.

I am happy to pop over to your house anytime your fur baby needs to be let out or go for a walk. I love to give the pets that I am watching love and attention that they may be missing because their owner is gone! Some owners want you to hang out for a while and watch TV, whereas others I am in and out to respect their home - I take my cues from you!
Information Sydney A. would like to know about your pet
I believe in over communicating so I would love to know if there is anything that they like/dislike, energy level, how they warm up to strangers, areas they like to be scratched, any PTSD or triggers, neighborhood dogs to stay away from, allergies, etc.
A typical day
I love to start the day with a quiet walk around the neighborhood, getting some sunlight and listening to the birds chirp. When we get home, we enjoy our coffee and breakfast together (coffee is just for me obviously), throw the ball around the backyard, tidying up after breakfast, getting fresh water, etc. From there we may nap or read, sun bath in the light, get their belly rubbed, toss the ball around, etc. We may go for another walk after lunch and then run some errands, go for a quick ride in the car. Once we have a delicious dinner and the sun is starting to set, we would head for another walk, gearing up for the close of the day. This schedule obviously varies based on dogs needs, weather, overall mood, etc.
