I would like to know what the dog's daily routine and comfort zone is in various situations. Specifically, what are the owner and the dog most comfortable with in terms of: care, exercise, feeding, commands/discipline, daily routine and social interaction with other animals. I'd also like to know if the dog has any special conditions, medical or otherwise, that may require unique attention/treatment. Lastly please let me know any common/expected issues or behavioral triggers I might expect (for example he/she barks at UPS, he/she is frightened by fireworks, he/she is aggressive toward other dogs, etc). I love big dogs and would prefer shepherd breeds (as I'm most familiar with German shepherds), but I'm comfortable with any breed as long as I'm well-prepared and know what to expect.

We will walk wherever your dog is most comfortable- near your house, and/or in Midtown (Sacramento), East Sacramento as well as parks in the area (i.e. Fremont, McKinley, East Portal, Bertha Henschel, etc.) I have lots of dog toys including frisbees, fetch balls, and distance throwers and I regularly visit Sutter's Landing dog park (off leash dog park), Granite Regional Park (off leash dog park) and Roosevelt park (small downtown Sac park where I play softball) with my german shepherd, Buck. If you're comfortable, your dog can play, walk with and visit the dog park with Buck (it's fine if they need to be separated as well). If your prefer we can visit the river for a hike or swim (or both) in fair weather. I'm very comfortable walking appropriately-trained dogs off leash so long as I know your comfort level and commands.
