I have a set routine for my cats that starts off with cleaning their food area followed by giving them their breakfast and refilling their water bowls. I then make sure to clean their litter boxes before I head to work. I then make sure I pick up anything that may be dangerous to my cats to ensure they don’t get into any trouble while my partner and I are away. When I get home I give them a little treat and make sure to get some play time in. I then give them their dinner a few hours before I head to bed. As for my families dogs I like to check frequently that their water bowls are full and that they have been let out to use the restroom every few hours. Additionally I make sure that all three have had at least one walk a day. I love getting to know each pets personalities. That means setting aside time to play and watch them intently. I will absolutely make sure that I respect each animals boundaries. I know that every animal is different and that is why I love them so dearly. If your cat/dog requires a lot of attention and affection then I will make sure they get it. If your cat/dog likes their independence then I will respect that but still make sure they are cared for.
