Aloha! My husband and I own a home with a fully fenced yard in the Kona Highlands area and have always been pet owners and cared for other people's animals. We love animals! Especially dogs. Our home is great for dog sitting as it has a completely fenced in backyard and access all day long via the doggie door. There is a covered area with pup furniture as well as an uncovered concrete lanai to hang out on. We do have two dogs so I prefer dogs that are social. My lab mix is high energy and my healer is calm and patient. I work from home but there are times where I have meetings and have to leave the house for a few hours and the pups would be outside and with dog door access to the bathroom. I don't let them in the house when we are gone. A typical day would be to start out with a walk. After this we would come back to the house and play ball or frisbee in the yard. We are close to O'oma / NELHA / Kaloko where we frequently walk our own dog, so this is also an option. The middle of the day would involve a nap outside or inside - wherever they want. In the afternoon we would go for another walk and have a play session afterwards. As a pet owner, we find it difficult to leave town and would love to offer assistance to people in that same situation. Hope we can help!
