Pet care experience
I love all creatures but have a special connection to dogs. I have a strong understanding dog behavior and have done lots of dog loving and training in my life. I have two rescue dogs, both of which are very used to sharing their space and their toys with other dogs. They are very well socialized and really love making new doggie friends. Our newest family member is a Brussels Griffon puppy. He is almost 5lbs. We are often pet sitting other dogs or spending time with other packs of dogs. I think dogs are powerful healers and teachers. Some of the most important teachers in my life. I value every moment of interaction I'm gifted with these magnificent creatures.

Suzzi was very nice and was able to accommodate me and my dog Cerberus at very short notice. She met me for pickup to make our first dog sitting experience as smooth as possible. She set up his blanket and toys for him to feel at home and sent me some photos throughout the day. At the end of the day he seemed totally relaxed and comfortable, like he had been comforted and loved on all day!

Dogs can be fully integrated into the group or can be given their own space if they prefer. Also we can do very small groups if that’s best. We have crates, kennels and indoor space depending on what’s best for each dog.

I don’t have any breed presences. We love all dogs. We have a 45lbs Bull Terrier mutt and a 25lbs Beagle mutt and 5lbs Brussels Griffon. They all love each and watch out for each other. I feel comfortable and have the right setup to board dogs that are aggressive or anxious with other dogs and can also work on these challenges with your dog with my own super stable dogs if you’d like your dog to make progress on these challenges.
A typical day
We hike every single day. If this is in alignment with your dogs physical capabilities. The property connects to the Pacific Crest Trail system. There is a hiking trail with no drive access from the property, horse and foot traffic only. Lots of sheep or goat cheese treats, if this is allowed for your dog, the dogs drink filtered spring water directly from the spring on the mountain. We also do lots of raw chicken hearts and chicken feet if that’s in alignment with your dogs dietary guidelines.

Availability
This is my entire life. It is my only job. I give these animals all of my presence everyday and I have two employees that help me. In December of 2022 I bought 5 acres of land in the mountains outside of Agua Dulce where I could get licensed as a kennel in order to legally board dogs. I do therapy work with my dogs. We work with foster children and adolescents and adults in inpatient treatment centers. I do aggressive dog integration work. I do dog socialization work. I do dog communication work. I work with families integrating new dogs into existing pack dynamics. I do physical rehabilitation work with dogs. I work with horses. I rescue and foster lots of animals. We currently have an African tortoise a horse and some honey bees (which are kept far from the dogs and are very docile). This is my greatest passion and my highest excitement in life. The property that I bought is stunning. We have access to a spring that comes directly out of the mountain at 3000ft elevation. It is a zero emf zone. It is truly a sanctuary for animals.
