I'm Suzie and I live in Coulsdon, Surrey. I grew up with cats, always having 1 or 2 in the household at any one time. I've lived with cats from as young as seven weeks up to older cats, reaching 16 years of age. I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and have experienced a range of different personalities in both cats and dogs. As a child we'd have farm holidays in Cornwall and Devon and I'd love feeding the chickens, looking after the rabits, milking the cows and playing with the farm dogs, etc. Plus I was very fond of the guinea pigs my best friend had growing up. I'm particularly careful to greet animals, especially cats, with my hand out so they can sniff my scent, get to know me and bond with me. I'm the owner of a beautiful British shorthair that my Dad aptly named Blue or Bluesy and we love our cat cuddles and he likes to gently head butt me for attention. I think animals are so precious and love how they bring so much joy to their owners. I'm looking for an additional income to supplement my coaching business and I can honestly think of nothing better than to care for animals. I would love to keep pets safe and look after them in the absence of their owners plus am very through and dilligent about cleaning animal trays, hutches, etc. I only take out two dogs at a time for walks and am happy to house sit up to 3 dogs and cats as well if you have a big animal family. I know what's it's like to be without your animals so will be sure to send plenty of photos and videos to let you know how they are doing. I'm also happy to help around the house, such as bringing in the mail, watering plants and taking out the bins for collection, etc. I'm available daytime, evenings and weekends (including Sundays). I have flexibility in my schedule and am available to pet sitting during the day and for overnight visits, Monday to Sunday. If I'm not available or am taking a day off, I will update the Rover calendar so pet owners are aware of my availability. This is not applicable to myself as a pet sitter / dog walker as I don't take dogs or any other pets into my own home.

Suzie has been looking after my cat for over a year now either day visits or staying for several days while I’m away. She always send photos and videos and always puts me at ease that my pet is being looked after and getting lots of cuddles and attention when I’m away. Suzie is always respectful to my home and we always know we can rely on her and trust her. The only downside is my cat enjoys being looked after Suzie so much, I think she is disappointed when I arrive back! Definitely recommend, trustworthy, and a true animal lover 😊
We used Suzie's amazing services for almost two whole months while our puppy was a tiny puppy and we had to go back to work. Our dog LOVED her, she was sending us lots of updates and pics, she played with him and was very open to our suggestions. We will definitely book Suzie again!
Suzie is a very special lady, kind to animals, responsible and you can be confident your pet is in good hands while you are away from home. Suzie sends daily videos , which is very nice to receive knowing everything is great back at home.

It's important that I understand the character and personality of all animals that I look after. Are there certain behaviours I should be aware of? How do they interact with other dogs? What is their recall like? Do they have any allergies or medical conditions that I should be aware of? What kind of food and treats do the have and how much each day. Anything else the pet owner feels it's important for me to know. I always like to have the name of the vet and where a carrier is in case of any kind of unexpected health emergencies, so I'm prepared.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs mentally by playing games and interacting with them and their toys. I enjoy nice walks with dogs and playing ball or catching a sticks. Where I can I like to take a dog into a more rural setting such as a park or woodland so they can have the safety to run around, if pre-agreed by the pet owner that they are happy for me to take them off the lead.
