Pet care experience
We've had pets for most of our lives but don't currently have any of our own. Our kids (ages 14 and 9) love animals, and we love to "borrow" other people's pets. We've been boarding other's cats and dogs since 2020.

Yiyang and Suzi were so kind and accommodating to care for our Princess Leia last minute with impending snow/ice as both my husband and I had to work through the weekend and weren’t sure if we could get home.. we were even able to extend a day last minute as our house lost power while their’s did not. Leia had been anxious lately after recently losing her brother, and she seemed calm and did great there with them. Thank you so much!!! We appreciate you! Would highly recommend them!

We love animals and can adapt to their personality. Our 14yo daughter loves to go on walks with us, play with, bathe, and train dogs. Our 9yo son loves to play, knows how to be gentle, and can handle big playful dogs. Please no pets with a history of aggression towards children. Since we have no pets of our own, we can board dogs who don't trust other dogs. We are insured through Pet Care Insurance.

A typical day
We have a large back yard with enough space for frequent zoomies. They can spend their time inside or outside--whichever they prefer—especially if they figure out the dog door. For walks, our neighborhood has 33 acres of greenspace. If they like the car, they're welcome to go with us to run errands with your permission.

Availability
Pets quickly feel at home here. There are four of us, and we usually only have one to three pets at a time. We let them sleep with us and almost never leave them home alone which helps with homesickness. They run errands with us if they like the car. We only crate dogs who love their crates or who are potty training. Both parents work from home, and the kids help after school. We have a fenced yard and take dogs on walks, off-leash runs, or to the dog park depending on their needs. We ask pets to be house-trained since our home is mostly carpet, but we're available to let them out as often as needed.
