Pet care experience
My name is Suzi! I am an active, outdoor adventuring, animal lover. I grew up outside of Tacoma on a farm with handfuls of animals. Our farm had around 70 animals at once! I now live in Tacoma with just one mighty dog. He is an English Cream Retriever named Buddy! I have trained every dog I have owned and do my part to maintain positive behaviors. I find myself outside on new adventures with dogs often. I have caught myself wanting to offer dog owner's my time in walking their pups, because let's face it, life is busy! I take Buddy to the dog park, hikes and sometimes on a trail in Point Defiance. Sometimes, I just enjoy going on a walk around the neighborhood. I love all breeds especially because they all have such different personalities and needs. I admire their uniqueness and how I connect differently with each dog. I find myself looking to lead a role in my life that brings me joy. I hope your dog finds as much joy in this as I do.

Suzi is very friendly and took great care of our pets while we were away. She was responsive when we had questions and sent tons of photos. We knew our pets were safe, cared for and getting lots of love and attention from Suzi; she’s great!

Suzi is great at communicating and taking the most excellent care of our puppy! She sends the cutest pictures of our pup and goes above and beyond keeping me informed on her visits. We are so glad to have found her!!!

I feel like every dog has a personality. It’s important for me to adapt to their needs and style, so the more information the owner can give me, the better. From start to finish, I would like the owner to tell me their expectations and directions on how they want me to enter to how they want me to approach their dog.
A typical day
It’s so fun to let our doggos explore and take in the day. When I visit a pup, I take time to let them get sniffs out and take care of their business. I don’t think the fun should stop there - With this PNW weather, that never stops me from continuing on normally as I would if it were sunny out. Some dogs will want to play fetch while some will want to lay outside and breathe in the fresh air. Either way, I am here for it!

Availability
I am currently a stay at home Mom and am really flexible! I am typically awake by 6am and am up until the evening. I typically would take care of the dog late morning or early afternoon (half way through a normal work day) unless otherwise directed.
