Pet care experience
I have 3 rescue cats and my oldest is 11. I volunteered at a cat shelter weekly for 4 years. I was responsible for feeding, cleaning, grooming, playing with, medicating and socializing about 20-30 cats and kittens that were eligible for adoption. I love all animals and regularly pet sit for friends and neighbors both for cats and small animals like chinchillas and rabbits. I am comfortable working with cats that are sick, old, shy, scared, sassy and unfriendly. I will treat your home and your furry family members with kindness and respect.

Suzanne is a devoted animal lover that puts animals' needs first. She's amazing with all kinds of animals and was made to be their caretaker. She has catsat for me in the past and the cats love how playful, affectionate, and thoughtful she is.
Suzanne is incredible! She takes such careful and loving care of my pet, who is extremely old and requires specialized food and attention. I trust her when I'm away for the weekend and also for longer trips (up to 2 weeks) and she always sends me pictures when I'm missing my fur baby. :) I have also met Suzanne's cats, who seem to be the happiest and most cuddly cats in the entire world and are clearly very well taken care of by their mom. I am so grateful to have found Suzanne and I'll be relying on her for all of my future vacations!
Oh my gosh, I don't know even know where to start. My dogs LOVE Suzanne. First, there's Ruthie. Ruthie has a car seat. I thought she was secure in her car seat. No, apparently, just unmotivated to escape. When Suzanne sat next to her, Ruthie leapt out of her seat to sit on Suzanne's lap. Doesn't do it for me. But Suzanne is worth it. Ruthie loves Suzanne so so much. Then there's Bella. Bella is a little old lady (14 years old) I rescued under 2 years ago. She's shy with everyone, except Suzanne. Jumps up to sit next to her on the couch. Dogs know good people and have decided Suzanne is good people.

A typical day
When it comes to cats I like to give them some treats or catnip. Give them pets and play with toys like a feather toy or laser pointer. Some cats (and small animals) just like calm human company and I am happy to sit next to them or let them come to me for some attention companionship and hang out near them.
