About twenty years ago we brought our first dachshund home from the shelter. My husband and I foster rescued dachshunds and I've dog-sat chi-weenies, bichon frise and had fun dog play-dates with chihuahuas, labs, and other dog friends! I have bathed dogs, clipped their hair, helped clean and dress post-surgery wounds, cleaned their ears, etc. I have also fostered senior dachshunds. I bake dog cookies and treats. I'm familiar with potty training refresh-work, puppy pads and cleaning wipes.

Let me know if your dog has any particular behavioral things to watch for like aggression, depression, or anything else. Do they like to try and run out of the door when you open it, or other things you feel I should be aware of? Are they potty trained?
A typical day
During my visit we will have loves and scratches, approved treats and visit the backyard for some great running around time! We'll play fetch and tug of war with toys.

Currently I volunteer for a nonprofit so my hours are flexible and I can set times when I am able to help you with your dog(s) on occasion or on a regular basis.
